1. Corrosion Resistant-Nickel Plated Roller Chain

• NP Chain has an attractive appearance and light corrosion resistance that makes it suitable for outdoor conditions where it is exposed to water.

• The maximum allowable load of nickel plated chain is 15% less than the equivalent  roller chain.

• It should not be used where the chain comes into direct contact with food products. In non-food applications, cover should be used where the coating flakes or where dust may pose a problem. Working temperature range: -10°C ˜ + 60°C.

• The mechanical strength of the chain is the same as in the standard roller chain.

• Normally these chains are not supplied pre-lubricated to avoid the use of lubricants not compatible with the application where the chains will be used. When installed, the chains should be lubricated with the selected lubricant.

• Tensile strength is approximately 85% that of standard carbon steel chain.
