Cast Steel Drag Chain

• The front face of each bush is flat, providing a broad area to push material along the trough and to keep the chain from riding over the top of the material. The rounded inner side of the bush is carefully shaped to make excellent sprocket contact. Sidebars are reinforced with wearing shoes which provide both additional wearing surface and stiffening for the link.

• Drag chains are designed with wear resistant structures, using heavy, wide bottomed links. Use SD drag chains when particularly high wear resistance is required.

• The chain is designed in a simple structure in which offset type cast blocks are connected by pins. It is ideal for conveying large granular material and highly abrasive granular material such as cement residue or pellets in a trough, materials which cannot be easily conveyed by ordinary conveyor chain.
